Privacy Policy
- Our Commitment to Privacy. Fuel Solutions, Inc. (“Fuel” or “We”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, retain, and disclose personal data about you when providing services to you through our websites and applications (collectively, the “Site”), as well as our products and services that link to this policy (our “Services”) and our practices for using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect:
- Through the Site/Services.
- In communications, including email, text, chat, and other electronic messages, between you and the Site/Services.
- When you interact with our advertising and applications (including mobile apps such as the League App) on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.
It does not apply to information collected by:
- Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Fuel Solutions, Inc. or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries) that does not link to this policy; or
- Any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Site/Services.
We may provide additional or different privacy policies that are specific to certain features, services, or activities.
By accessing or using the Site/Services that link to this Privacy Policy, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, and you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please review these terms carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Site/Services. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Section 12, Changes to Privacy Policy). Your continued use of the Site/Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
- What Information is Collected and How We Collect It. “Personal data” is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual, such as your name, credit union affiliation, title, street address, email address, telephone number, payment information, or any other identifier we may use to contact you online or offline. The types and categories of personal data we collect or process include:
(a) Information You Provide to Us: We collect any information you enter on our Site or when using the Services, or that you give us in any other way, including by email and other electronic messages between you and the Site/Services, or when you interact with our advertising on the Site/Services. This may include personal data such as your name, credit union affiliation, title, street address, email address, telephone number, etc. It may include details of transactions you carry out through the Site/Services, such as registration and payment information you provide to us. You can choose not to provide certain information, but you may not be able to take advantage of our Services and features.
You also may provide information to be published or displayed (“posted”) on public areas of the Site/Services or transmitted to other users of the Site/Services or third parties (“User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Site/Services with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
(b) Automatic Data Collection/Technical information: As you navigate through and interact with the Site/Services, you disclose certain technical information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns that we may collect using automatic data collection technologies, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type, the date and time of your visit to the Site/Services, internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Services, such as clickstream information to, through, and from our Services (including date and time), products that you view or search for, page response times, download errors, length of your visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from a page, and the content of any public comments and postings to the Site/Services . This Site/Services, like many other websites, records this basic information about visits to our Site/Services.
(c) Cookies: Cookies are pieces of information that are transferred to your computer from a web server when you interact with the Site/Services. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or to refuse to accept cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Site/Services. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Site/Services.
(d) Web Beacons: Some parts of the Site/Services (and our emails) may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those parts or [opened an email ]and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity).
(e) Statistical Information: We also collect statistics or aggregated information that does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal data. For example, we may aggregate personal data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Site/Services feature. If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with personal data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as personal information.
- “Do Not Track” Policy. We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services. Our service uses the following tracking methods: Local log files from our server and Google Analytics. We comply with “do not track” settings.
- Third Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking. Third parties do not collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities on our Site/Services, although they may do so if you visit their website. We do, however, use third party tracking tools, as mentioned above.
- How and When the Information is Used. The information we collect is used for providing information or services you request and administering our business activities, including fulfilling any other purpose for which you provide the information or give your consent. Occasionally we may use the information to notify you about updates or changes to our Site/Services, industry announcements, new services, or special offers. The information we collect automatically does not include personal information. It helps us to improve the Site/Services and to deliver a better and more personalized service, such as by enabling us to: estimate audience size and usage pattern, speed up your searches, or recognize you when you return to our Site/Services. We may also use information we collect to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection purposes.
- How We Retain Your Personal Data. Information collected automatically is generally stored for a period of one (1) calendar year. We keep the categories of personal data described in this policy for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described or for as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Site/Services, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain personal data. At the end of the retention period, personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or deidentified.
- How We Protect Your Information. The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. We do not make any personal information available to third parties without your permission. Your access to some services and content is password protected. We advise that you do not disclose your password to anyone. In addition, we recommend you sign out of password-protected services at the end of your session and that you notify us promptly if you believe your password may have been compromised so that we may make take any necessary remedial steps.
- Who Has Access to the Information. Information about our users is important to us. We may share information we collect with our subsidiaries and affiliates, including California’s Credit Unions, Nevada’s Credit Unions, Utah’s Credit Unions, the California League Services Corporation, Fuel Solutions, Inc., ViClarity, and America’s Credit Unions, with whom we collaborate in order to provide certain products and services. We may disclose information to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. We may disclose information as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. We will not sell or disclose any personally identifiable information to any outside third party without first receiving that user’s permission or unless required by law, such as to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request. We may disclose information as necessary to enforce our Terms of Use. We may also disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuel Solutions, Inc., our affiliates, our users, credit unions, or others.
- Methods We Use to Protect Your Information. We have implemented commercially reasonable measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We use security software to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. In addition, our business practices are reviewed periodically for compliance with policies and procedures governing the security and confidentiality of our information. Our business practices limit employee access to confidential information and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have been given or selected a password for access to certain parts of our Site/Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site/Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site/Services.
- Children Under Age 18. Our Site/Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to, on, or through the Site/Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information to, on, or through this Site/Services, or through any of the Site’s features, register on the Site, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this Site/Services, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. - How You Can Access Your Information. You can review, request access to, or modify all your personally identifiable information by sending an email to Karla Davis, Vice President of Communications & Marketing, at karlad@ccul.org, or by calling 909-212-6023. You may also request to delete any personal information that you have provided to us. However, to delete your personal information, we may have to delete your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
- Changes to Privacy Policy. If our Privacy Policy or procedures change, we will immediately post those changes to our Site/Services. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the home page of the Site/Services with a link to the revised Privacy Policy. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting, unless otherwise stated in the change.
- Effective Date: This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 1, 2026.
- Exclusions: This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by the affiliates of Fuel Solutions, Inc. or any third party, including any other affiliates or subsidiaries, except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy.
